He has a degree in Plastic and Visual Arts from La Esmeralda, from the National Institute of Fine Arts.

He won several awards in Plastic Arts. In 1999

he was awarded the "State Youth Award"

He has received different awards in sculpture and painting, in the regions of Oaxaca, State of Mexico, Aguascalientes, Hidalgo, Mexico City and Chile.

2014 begins to participate in international sculpture events, his works are located in public places and collections, in several countries: in 2013 and 2017 France, from 2016 to 2019 in

Chile, 2016 in Burkina Faso, 2018 in Egypt, 2019 in Finland, in 2020 in Ecuador, 2017 and 2023 in Mexico.

2010 promotes the Urban Museum in Tepeji del Rfo.

2014 is called to work in La Josefina yarn and fabric factory, and have the opportunity to carry out different projects of artistic production, research, promotion and cultural link, with the population of Tepeji del Rfo.

In 2017 he created the international project of Urban Sculpture in Tepeji del Rfo, giving it the category of Municipal Cultural Heritage, by the Local Assembly.

He has participated in more than 30 collective exhibitions and 5 individual exhibitions in Mexico and abroad. Adrian Pena dedicates his time to the production of artistic projects, with materials such as; stone, wood and metals, making sculpture branch of the art that he is most passionate about.
